Mazda is one of the few automakers able to label their cars as fun to drive and get away with it. However, the essence of a wankel engined sports car is troubling; while you're standing on the side of the road explaining to everybody what a wankel engine is while it's on fire, will your lady friend be cool enough with the problematic nature of the RX series to stay by your side?

Is it okay for a Ford Mustang competitor (RX-8) to achieve such little fuel efficiency and have relatively nothing more to show for it?

While the appeal of the RX-7 is great for us, have the Fast and the Furious titles ruined it for the average Joe, or more importantly for people like Anna Kendrick?

I feel like the Mazda RX-7 would be uncool because one looks like a ricer driving it around. SO FAST, MUCH RACE. I AM OVER COMPENSATING FOR A SMALL MENS AREA. That is what Anna Kendrick thinks. We however think, "lucky bastered owns an RX-7." We are however uncool people.

The first generation is so blah. I don't think it's cool, wankel or not.

The second gen though is cool, and I think the RX8 is pretty cool. I voted uncool, fly as hell, cool

Yes, the Anna Kendrick Test is a direct rip off of Top Gear's Kristen Scott Thomas Test , but the theory still applies and helps us rain in our raging teenage hormones for speed and replace them with our raging teenage hormones.

Imaging rolling up to Anna Kendrick's house in the car in question; will she get in? Further still, will she be impressed by it?

It's not just a game of comparing her attractiveness with the car's, but rather comparing and complimenting her attractiveness, quirkiness, lightheartedness, and desire to have fun with the car in question.

NP, just look up most american cars made from the mid 70's - mid 80's. Lots of crap with a few gems. Some others I would recommend as interesting and/or unusual cars:

Honda z600

VW type 3

BMW Bavaria

Ford Festiva

Mazda MX6

Porsche 928

BMW e21

You could do one of all the car-pickups (El camino, Ranchero, Chevy SSR, etc)
